Painting is a hobby that requires at least a little imagination. While painting, you can get out of reality and into the world of illusions and relax. Do you know that we have many kinds of painting that can be done by beginners to artists who do it for a living?
Painting by Numbers
This style is great for beginners as there are pre-printed images on the canvas that are just painted with acrylic paint by numbers. You don\’t have to prepare anything at all, everything is ready and you just paint by number and code.

Painting with acrylic paints
For this painting you need: Brushes, acrylic paints, palette, canvas, varnish for final fixing.
To be able to mix the colours, it is advisable to use a palette on which you prepare the colours and then start painting. What brushes to use? In case you want the strokes not to be visible, you need to use a softer brush and vice versa, if you want the strokes to be visible, use a harder brush. The paint can be applied in weaker layers, but also in thicker layers. Acrylic paints can be painted on many types of material, for example canvas, glass, paper, plastic, wood, walls.
Tips for working: Acrylic paints dry quickly, so don\’t apply too much paint that you don\’t have time to work with. It is not advisable to add a lot of water, as then the paint loses its opacity and the picture is not very good. Leave the brushes in a glass of water while working, not in the air, as the paint will dry quickly on the brush and the brush will harden. When dry, acrylic paints are a little darker than when applied. Finally, varnish the painting after it has dried.

Painting with watercolour
Watercolour paints do not have covering properties, so they are used for fresh paintings. In the case of watercolour painting, it is not advisable to use classic watercolours from school, but good quality watercolour paints in a tube or on a palette. Watercolour is most often painted on special watercolour paper, which you can find in any art shop or stationery store.
